Payment Policies:

Payment Accepted:
Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and cash. I will not accept any other form of payment.

Payment is due at the end of each babysitting session.
Refunds are only issued if I need to cancel a booking due to an emergency.

These policies help ensure fairness and consistency for all families I work with.

Cancellations:
Life happens, so I offer free cancellations with no penalties or fees.

Travel Fee:

Booking outside my listed areas will include a travel fee, based on distance. This is used to cover the Uber or Lyft.

No Hidden Charges:

I do not charge extra for supervising playdates, sleepovers, or group hangouts.

I require the other parent’s contact number for coordination.
I will supervise up to 5 children maximum in a home without another adult.

Discounts

As a thank‑you for your service and commitment, I’m offering:

10% off for federal employees.
10% off for teachers and first responders.
10% off for parents pursuing college.

Please note: Discounts require a valid ID. Without verification, I won’t be able to apply the discount. Thank you for understanding! I only take one discount per household.

There are no booking fees or other hidden costs. My goal is to keep things upfront, fair, and consistent for every family.

Booking Policies:

Before your first babysitting appointment, I ask all families to complete a brief phone or Zoom interview. This helps us build trust and ensures I fully understand your child’s needs, routines, and your household expectations.
If you’re booking through a platform such as SitterCity, please note that all communication and payments must remain on that platform in accordance with their policies. Thank you for respecting these guidelines.
I do not accept bookings through social media platforms other than Facebook Messenger.
Background checks have already been completed through the babysitting platforms I use. If you prefer to run an additional check, you are welcome to do so at your own expense.
For professional boundaries, I do not accept bookings from current teachers or professors. Former teachers and professors are welcome to book with me.
By booking with Edina’s Babysitting, you acknowledge and agree to these terms so we can begin our work together with clarity and mutual understanding.

Other Policies:

I value respectful communication. I reserve the right to decline or end services if hostile or unsafe behavior occurs during booking, interviews, or care.
Parents are responsible for providing a safe environment, necessary supplies, and clear instructions.
In the event of an emergency, if I cannot reach you, I will contact 911 to ensure your child’s safety. Any costs incurred will be the family’s responsibility.
Pet care is available only if discussed and agreed upon in advance.
